Leadership Team

Porus Khambata has spent more than 25 years working in the medical device field with strong finance and business experience leading organizations across the Asia Pacific region. Before joining HOYA Surgical Optics, he was President of the Asia Pacific region for PENTAX Medical, another HOYA lifecare business.

Prior to coming to HOYA Group, he worked for 15 years with General Electric (GE) in various leadership roles in finance, across different geographies and cultures. He is a GE certified six sigma black belt and participated in multiple senior management programs during his time with GE. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and holds a Bachelors (Honours) Degree in Commerce from University of Mumbai, India.
